Polypropylene plastic closures for clamp type fittings and pipe ends. These inexpensive metal detectable caps protect sanitized pipelines and flowline equipment from dust, insects, mold, and contamination. Our MD series caps are made with an FDA-compliant polymag additive which imparts Metal Detectability, X-Ray Contrast and Magnetic Separation into a range of polymers in order avoid the presence of potential choking hazards in finished product. With a heavy-duty stainless-steel chain, and a highly detectable chain adapter thread made with acetal UD plastic, our MD series caps with attached chain can also be safely utilized in production requiring metal detectable plastics. Cap Off Tri-Clamp Style Fittings are available in MD BLUE, also available in custom colors on request. Custom color requests must be a minimum order of 200 caps.
